Picture Retake Day is Wednesday, September 24th. If you were absent on Picture Day, or purchased photos and need them retaken, you will need to have your photo taken on Picture Retake Day. For students that purchased photos and need a retake, they must return their packet to the photographer on this day to receive reprints.
Girls Soccer Tryouts begin October 6th. Boys Soccer Tyrouts begin Oct. 8th. Must have current approved paperwork in Aktivate to participate. See Coaches Torrelli & Oxley for more details.
Next Week is Spirit Week. Dress up each day according to the spirit week schedule. All dress must conform to school dress code. Costumes, masks, props, hats, and costume makeup are not allowed. If students have questions about appropriate dress, they can see Mrs. Meckalavage in the cafeteria at both breakfast and lunch.
Students, bring $4.00 on Friday 8/29/25 to get a chilly after-school treat & show your support for our school! They will donate 20% back to us.... How sweet is that?!

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), requires that a Local Educational Agency prepare and disseminate an annual Local Educational Agency report card and provide information on state, local, and school performance and progress in an understandable and uniform format.
District and School grades provide an easily understandable way to measure the performance of a school. Parents and the public can use the grades and their components to understand how well each district and/or school is serving its students.

Hey Longhorns! If you are trying out for basketball this season, plan to attend Open Gym 4:30 to 5:30 beginning Monday, August 18th. Just make sure you get your Aktivate paperwork completed and approved by Coach Langlie beforehand, otherwise you won't be able to participate. Aktivate paperwork is located on our website under Athletics. Official tryouts begin August 25 after school.

It has been a great week for teachers. They have never felt more appreciated! This week's activities ended with Ice Cream and a Nacho Bar plus a drawing for prizes. We don't know the winners yet.
